My name is Kailen Kendall and
I am 11 years old. I live is Lanesville, Indiana,
and am in the
fifth grade at Georgetown Elementary School.
I have been riding since I was two years old.
I owned my first Quarter Horse when I was five
and started showing him in walk-trot classes.
This is my first year in the IQHA and the IQHA
Horseback Riding Program. I have just completed
my 50 and 100 hour levels on my horse Ima Flash
Dandy (aka Flash).
I have owned Flash for three years. We have competed
in several 4-H and open shows. We have won the
Western Pleasure class at our Area II 4-H Horse
and Pony Show the last two years. Our other accomplishments
are many wins in reining, showmanship, horsemanship,
trail, HUS, and we have even placed in several
crossrail classes.
I also enjoy riding my other two horses Leos
Colonel Dandy (Leo) and my thoroughbred Circus
Tricks (Casey).
I am very excited about showing and riding my
horses next year, and hope to accumulate more
IQHA Horseback Riding hours!
