Christine Beckmann & As The World Terms

Winner of the High Point Novice Youth All Around
at the Tom Wilson Memorial Horse Show in
Rochester, Indiana on August 9th & 10th
 
 
Christine Beckmann is from Plymouth, Indiana. Her father
owns Turn One Motorsports, Inc. located in Plymouth and her
mother, Denice Beckmann is a dedicated "show mom".
She has one brother, Mitch who is 21 years old and one sister,
Katie who is 5 years old. Christine attends 7th grade at
St. Michael's Catholic School in Plymouth. She is a very
accomplished artist and also enjoys knitting and crocheting.
Other sports she has played are volleyball and basketball.
But her first love is showing horses!
 
 
Christine began her riding career at 8 years old. Taking some
super tough lessons from Deb Simanski and "sticking with it"!
A year later she starting showing in the Small Fry Divisions on a
wonderful mare named Judge Rosanna. Over the last 4 years
Christine has been searching for the perfect horse to
further her show career and she's finally found him. In January
of 2006 the Beckman's purchased a 3 year old pleasure
bred gelding named "As The World Terms" (aka Junior) from Penny
Jargella of Peak Performance Horses.  The match was made
in heaven! Horse and rider instantly became the best of friends!
"Junior" is the full brother to the Congress Top Teb Winner "Terms Me On"
shown by Christine's good friend and show buddy, Cameron Harter.
 
 
Currently, Christine is showing in Novice Youth and 13 & Under Events including
Showmanship and both Western and Hunt Seat. So far for this first year the team
has been taking their classes by storm finishing 1st and 2nd in most of their
events and winning the Novice Youth All-Around Award at the Tom Wilson
Memorial Show this past August.
 
As The World Terms is also being shown by Christine's trainer, Deb
Simanski from Peak Performance Horses in Hebron, Indiana.
So far this year Deb has put an ROM in the Open HUS on "Junior" in just two shows,
as well as finishing 1st in the Green Hunter and Junior HUS  at both Rochester
shows this past August.
 
Christine, Cameron and the boys are headed for this year's Congress showing
in the 11 & under, 13 & under and novice divisions. Good luck to the both of them!
